The Finnish Cultural Foundation, Ester and Uuno Koki Fund
The Finnish Cultural Foundation is a private foundation whose activities support science, art and culture throughout Finland. Our co-leads, Dr Brendan Battersby and Dr Sarah O'Keefe were among the 10% of successful applicants in the October 2023 round, resulting in an award of €92,000 for Research in the field of Medicine (Mitoguarder-työkalua käsittelevään tutkimukseen). Over two years, this funding will facilitate key proof of concept and validation studies to benchmark the benefits of our technology. #skr2024 #kulttuurirahastontuella
University of Helsinki Incentive Grant
In 2024, the University of Helsinki awarded €30,000 to innovation projects to support the commercialisation of technologies emerging from academic research. As recipients of this one year funding, we will use it to bring Our Team and Board Members together in-person and to contribute to our planned commercialisation activities.
